At the forum, Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Deputy CEO in charge of Business Development and Market Strategy at GG Power, emphasized that for the energy storage market to grow effectively and sustainably, it is essential to clearly define the role of BESS within the power system, establish an appropriate pricing mechanism, and complete the relevant technical standards. He also noted that scaling up pilot projects and strengthening domestic supply capabilities will be key drivers for market development.
From a supply chain and technology perspective, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dat, Deputy CEO in charge of Supply Chain and R&D at GG Power, highlighted the importance of standardization and quality control in the BESS sector, while calling for a robust regulatory framework to ensure transparency and safety across the market.
