On April 11, GG Power officially introduced its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing plant at Industrial Park No. 5, Xuân Trúc, in Hưng Yên.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Hoàng Long emphasized that the development of Vietnam’s renewable energy market requires the integration of energy storage systems. He also affirmed that the Ministry of Industry and Trade will support and help remove obstacles so that domestic enterprises can develop green, clean energy and a “Made in Vietnam” renewable energy ecosystem.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Hưng Yên People’s Committee, Lê Quang Hòa, noted that the operation of the plant aligns well with Hưng Yên’s development orientation toward 2030, with a vision to 2045 of becoming a high-tech industrial province.

According to Mr. Bùi Xuân Bình, Chairman and CEO of GG Power, the company’s goal is not merely to manufacture equipment but to master core technologies—from control systems to the integration of comprehensive solutions. “We are investing heavily in R&D, developing internal standards, building factories, and expanding international partnerships. This is not an easy path—it requires time, resources, and perseverance—but it is a necessary direction to establish a new energy industry for the country,” he said.

The GG Power plant has a total investment of VND 300 billion for Phase 1, with an additional VND 300 billion planned for Phase 2. Covering an area of 1.2 hectares, the facility includes a modern two-story production complex and an R&D center, with a designed capacity of 5 GWh per year. It is one of the first BESS plants in Vietnam to be systematically and professionally developed in line with international standards, featuring an automation level exceeding 90%, which enables quality control at every stage of production.
