On April 11, 2026, at Industrial Park No. 5 (Hung Yen), GG Power hosted an official event to introduce its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility — marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey within the green energy sector.
During the event, representatives from government agencies and local authorities attended and shared their insights. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, Vice Minister of Industry and Trade, highlighted the critical role of energy storage in enabling the transition toward sustainable energy systems. He also affirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting the sector by addressing regulatory challenges, facilitating policy development, and encouraging domestic enterprises to master technologies and develop “Made in Vietnam” solutions.
Also as part of the program, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, presented congratulatory flowers, while Mr. Le Quang Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Hung Yen People’s Committee, expressed expectations that the project would contribute positively to the province’s economic growth in the coming years.
Following this, Mr. Bui Xuan Binh, Chairman and CEO of GG Power, shared the company’s strategic direction and vision in the energy storage sector, emphasizing the growing importance of BESS in the future energy landscape.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted during the event, marking a key milestone in the development of the GG Power facility. With a designed capacity of 5GWh per year, the factory is expected to strengthen domestic manufacturing capabilities and meet the increasing demand for energy storage solutions across various sectors.
Guests were also invited to tour the facility, gaining first-hand insights into the production lines, technologies, and operational systems, offering a clearer view of GG Power’s capabilities and long-term development strategy.
This event not only represents an important milestone for GG Power but also contributes to advancing Vietnam’s clean energy industry.
